You scowled as you picked up the broom, angrily sweeping the floor of the bar as you grumbled under your breath. Your mother, Ayano Terada, or better known as Otose, had just lectured you again about growing up and helping out around the bar, but the last thing you wanted was to be stuck indoors when you could be outdoors practicing your new craft. Summer would soon come to an end and the skateboarding tournament would soon begin, but instead of honing your craft, you were stuck inside cleaning.
Skateboarding is a sport that the Amanto brought with them upon their invasion of the earth and it’s all about performing tricks on a wooden board with four wheels. You instantly fell in love with it, finding it to be so freeing and exciting, but your mother did not approve. She thought it was stupid and dangerous, which it certainly could be. You had experienced your fair share of injuries since picking up the sport but, in your opinion, it was completely worth it.
